Alright, so I know I haven't blogged for a while, but I've had a pretty busy time. Our AP World History exam is coming up, and we're being bombarded with mini-essays and such everyday. I've had ups and downs over this time, but really mostly ups. I kind of want to get back in the heat of things with blogging, and maybe start doing mini blogs everyday instead of big ones every two days or whatever. But of course, things will probably not go as I planned them to, so I'll just flow with that go =).
SPEAKING OF FLOWING WITH THE GO-
There was this quote in this AP World packet we had to do from the book Over the Top that I really thought it could be applied to everyday life.
The quote goes as follows:
"Don't duck at the crack of a bullet, Yank; the danger has passed,- you never hear the one that wings you. Always remember that if you are going to get it, you'll get it, so never worry."
If you just live life and you stop worrying about everything that can go wrong, wouldn't you live a healthier life? Don't get me wrong, you'll still have repsonsibilities and consequences for your actions, but if you just went for it, and had the confidence, things would go "as planned" for you. I'm personally a Christian, so I further look at it as God has a plan for me, so if I'm meant to die whilst free jumping off a building, that's how it was meant to be. So I'll go for it. However, if I pretended that God "intended" for me to commit suicide, I'd be doing exactly the opposite of what I'm supposed to; I'd be commiting a crime; I wouldn't be following my path. I hope I got that message across clearer than I think I did. I really only satisfied the latter part of that quote, because it was what mostly caught my attention.
Story time-that kind of corresponds-: In 8th grade I took accelarated earth science, in which this GREAT MAN named Joe Gambino was my teacher. He would always use the phrase "just do it" whenever he was giving us both test-taking and life advice. It's really the only thing I remember from that class, and I hope you remember it in this blog, and all the nike stores you visit ;). Also,he'd always say the joke "One day, three guys walked into a bar and one guy ducked." Not too hard to figure out.
Anyways. That's all I wanted to get at. Have a day filled with dandelions =).
Ps- I don't spell check xD.

Thanks for the great comment on my merino post!
In relation to your previous thought-provoking post about the grass - we had no grass at all during the summer drought and bushfires.
But a little rain about five weeks ago brought lush green to the entire city.
you had Mr. Gambino?
Yuck-I HATED AP exams. Good luck:)
